We work in partnership with clients, colleagues and our supply chain to have a positive impact.
We have four commitments underpinning our entire UK action plan – three of these are focused on working in partnership with our supply chain, and the other stresses the need for high ethical standards.
Part 1: Building responsible supply chains
Forging partnerships in our UK supply chains can help us address important issues like the environment, diversity in the workplace, human rights, labour rights and modern slavery.
Commitment 1: All new suppliers to be screened using environmental criteria by 2026.
- We’re working to better understand our supplier base and define environmental and social criteria material to us.
- We plan to implement environmental screening criteria with critical suppliers.
- We’ll measure this by the number of new suppliers screened and continually assessed.
Commitment 2: 80% of critical-task suppliers to sign 51ยายื’s Supply Chain Charter by 2025.
- We’re reviewing our procurement policies and processes to develop a Supply Chain Charter.
- We plan to put sustainable procurement processes in place across our UK operations.
- We’ll measure this by the percentage of suppliers signed up to our Supply Chain Charter.
Commitment 3: All critical suppliers trained on our ESG requirements by 2025.
- We’re engaging with our critical suppliers on our ESG plans.
- We plan to improve awareness of our ESG-related requirements along our supply chains.
- We’ll measure this by the percentage of our suppliers completing ESG-related training.

Part 2: Prioritising business ethics, compliance and integrity
We provide ethics, compliance and integrity (BEC&I) training for all our UK colleagues. By making this commitment, we aim to re-emphasise the importance of these considerations and bring them to life.
Commitment 4: 100% completion rate of annual training by 2025.
- We’re assessing our current training and engaging our colleagues on business ethics and compliance issues.
- We plan to improve our training, ensure all colleagues are aware of BEC&I issues and how to tackle them, and gain a 100% pass rate for training.
- We’ll measure this by the percentage of employees who complete and pass the training.
